Singham Again on track to clash with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 on Diwali

The box office is set for an explosive Diwali as Singham Again is locked in for a festive release, putting to rest any speculation about a postponement. The film, which stars Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh, Tiger Shroff, Deepika Padukone, and Kareena Kapoor Khan, will go head-to-head with Kartik Aaryan's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 (BB3). According to insiders, “It is going to be a Diwali release for Singham Again. The team is not in the mood to change anything. Also, the trailer launch is expected to take place on either October 2 or 3.” 

Earlier reports hinted at discussions between director Rohit Shetty, co-producers Jio, and Kartik Aaryan’s team, suggesting a possible shift in Singham Again's release date. These rumors were fueled by the growing success of horror comedies at the box office, which could have favored BB3. However, it seems Shetty and his team are confident in the power of their cop franchise and the draw of their star-studded cast, deciding to maintain the original release date and stay the course.  

The real test will be at the box office as both films will vie for the audience’s attention. While Singham Again has the weight of a popular franchise and big names attached, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has its own loyal fanbase and the momentum of the horror-comedy trend. With neither film backing down, it will be interesting to see if BB3 adjusts its strategy or sticks to its Diwali release as well.
